Off Campus

Off Campus Activities

At Lead Venture you get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Our campus is located in one of the suburbs of Minneapolis and downtown is about 20 minutes away. Popular features in the area include:

Mall of America – Oh you know, only the biggest mall in the nation! Complete with a sea world, an amusement park, tons of great places to eat, and, of course, the stores themselves.

Snowboarding, Skiing, and Tubing – There are several ski and snow boarding resorts in Minnesota, and one right outside of Minneapolis located in the town of Bloomington.

Ice Skating – This is an activity that you will want to experience in Minnesota. Centennial Lakes’ beautiful 10 acre lake is indeed a magical recreation in the winter time, especially when lights are lit up on the trees at night.

Coffee Shops – Part of the Minneapolis culture is coffee. There is no shortage of shops that sell high quality tasting coffee, hot cocoa and tea. Caribou coffee is one of the known coffee shops in the Midwest especially in Minnesota as its corporate office is located here.

Ethnic Restaurants at Calhoun Square – Do you love trying out new food? Well Calhoun square is the place to go. It has tons of Thai restaurants, sushi, Mexican fusion, and much more.

Burger Joints – You may be more of a traditional person who loves American food. Minneapolis has some of the best burger spots around.

Free Zoo – During the summer you can enjoy the zoo with your friends!

Sculpture Gardens – The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is one of the crown jewels of the city’s park system, uniting two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its green space and its cultural life.

Hiking/Biking/Running Trails – Do you love the outdoors? Then you are going to love our campus. There are running and biking trails all around campus. Also, a couple miles away there are beautiful hiking trails at our local parks.
